An introduction..
So, The Simpsons is a cartoon series that has been around since 1989. We've all seen it, I'm sure, and for people of my generation (I was born in 1983) we grew up alongside them, watched them change style, move with the times etc, but one thing I have noticed has remained constant throughout it's lifetime. Marge Simpson is a bitch.
Yep, I think she might well be worse than any of the others portrayed as villains, because you're supposed to like her, you're supposed to think she's normal. In a family where Homer is the over-eating doofus with a drinking problem, Bart is the cheeky, naughty kid who has a good heart but easily led astray, Lisa is the brains with soul, Maggie is an evil genius in the making, and Marge.. well, she's supposed to be your average all American stay at home mom. Not too clever, not too thick, not too fat, not too thin, not too rich, not too poor... all around "normal".
I hope to prove here in this blog that she is unequivocally, a horrible, sneaky, manipulative bitch.
Why on earth did I think of this? You may ask, Well... my husband and I discussed it after one episode (I'm afraid I can't remember exactly which sadly) and since then, we've noticed in every episode we've watched that she behaves appallingly. She is an absolute cow.
Off the top of my head, she sneaks meat juice into Lisa's food even though she knows she wants to be a vegetarian and it's important to her.Whenever Homer messes up, she throws him out of the house even though he has no doubt just done something silly with his heart in the right place. She ALWAYS wants to change Homer even though she's always known what he was like. She thinks she's better than Homer (and many other people actually). There are so many more.. and that's why I started a blog so I can keep going through them all!
As a disclaimer here, this is purely for comedy value of my own, and I am aware that a) it's a tv show and not real, and b) most of the "behaviour" is for comedy and other characters are worse at times, but see my first point!
I am, of course, not affilited with The Simpsons, Fox, Matt Groening or anything else. All opinions contained within this blog are my own (which is probably why they're so stupid).
